Investors who had borne the idea of winning the share market with their high yielding shares of Apple Company might find this blog entry either a shoddy joke or a terrible shock. The Wall Street Journal has recently declared the shares of Apple are about take freefall and its index value is about to drop by almost 8 echelons (20% to 12 %). Let me frame it Jeopardy style, since I just got off watching IBM’s amazing Watson computer at work…“These 10 high-yielding components of the Dow Jones Industrial Average were favorites of investors in 2010, and perhaps the investors should let the dogs out in 2011 too.” And to this, the right answer should be “What is the Dogs of the Dow?” If you are truly puzzled and don’t know what the Dogs of the Dow are, you should get to know more about this winning strategy that served many well last year. According to the logic of this strategy, you should buy the 10 highest yielding components with the aim of getting increased dividend income and making these dogs run hard for you. More than just [...]
